Anyone get massages or alignment regularly to help training??

I'm wondering if anyone here gets a massage or alignment on a regular basis. I'm thinking not only would it be a great feeling to have a deep tissue massage, but that it might aid in healing or growth. Also I've heard of people getting aligned, supposedly used when you back or neck isn't straight etc. I don't think it's necessarily performed by a chiropractor but maybe. So anyway who does this or has done this before and did or does it help?

I go to an ART (active release technique) certified chiropractor weekly. He's kept me training consistently, even when injured.

What does he do exactly or is there a website that explains it maybe? My buddy used to go to this guy who would line up his ankles and crack his back etc, work on his shoulders some, but he wasn't called a chiropractor so maybe he was what your talking about.

naw man, it just relaxes my muscles and myself enough to keep training.

My chiro-helps my postural alignment and give me muscle testing to find any weaknesses in my overall structures, ie weak abs and arms in general.

My acupunctiorist helps my body reover faster when I do some heavy squats or gm's,

My massuese(SP) helps me loosen up and break up scar tissue so I get full ROM

I goto deep tissue massage theparist 2x a month at $35 a pop...
If it wasn't for him I would not be workin out anymore.. he saved my ass after two years of dealing with extreme shoulder pain.. now im fixed...
I also hit the chiropractor up every week at $20 a pop...Keeps everything aligned and in the groove

Does the deep tissue massage help rotator cuff & shoulder impingement problems? Or is ART better for this.

I currently have shoulder impingement that I can't shake.....
