I think mine may be torn up around the shoulder. It's all bruised now. Did it benching. Anyone have any experience with this?

Yeah bro...my best buddy did it a month ago. He was doing reps with 415 and heard this weird tearing/ripping noise followed by what he said felt like a surgeon cutting him open w/out any topical. He bruised real bad. His trick was using a ton of DMSO and asprin. I guess DMSO is supposed to help quench oxygen radicals and help with faster healing.

I didn't believe it until I tried it on a sore knee...really works!

He was fine after a few weeks. I guess it depends on how bad it went.

can take few months to properly heal...
usually too much weight too fast or improper lifting techniques, or poor diet, or lack of rest, or few other hundreds of causes...

I've had several. Head straight to the best sports doc you can find. If it is a muscle to tendon tear there's not much they can do to repair, tendon to bone will require surgery. There are not alot of doc's out there in my opinion who are qualified in this area. After my first tear, tendon from bone, my doc said it would heal naturally........a year later after my attorney got involved I had it repaired at UF. I've had 2 muscle to tendon tears since. Do not try and work around it or use something to mask the problem. Being around the shoulder area, my guess would be a rotator cuff instead of a pec but get someone to look at it ASAP.
