Anyone ever played Quake III: Arena?

the old school basic physics engine shooters are awesome. i still ahve q3 installed on this machine..

Those couple of deathmatches I played were more fun than most of the newer games today.
Alas....I have to get some sleep.

In terms of pure, competitive game engine, I think Q2 was the best there has ever been. It was the right mix of weapon balance, movement and competitive gameplay.
