Anyone else get crazy numbness in hands while sleeping?

I seem to have the same prob when on but I have something stranger to add, I will have one arm covered in sweat. The rest of my body is fine other than the one arm. It just happens when I am on. Go figure??????????

Man I dont know what the hell it is but It's happening to me as well...Like poor circulation..wtf??

Same here. Feels like you fell asleep on your arm and the circulation was cut off. Totally numb and tingling. Problem is you can't fall asleep on both arms at the same time, especially when you wake up flat on your back. So you can rule out the blood flow.

i always wake up and my entire pinky finger and part of my hand are numb as hell, been scaring me lately.......one night i woke up and couldnt feel either hand at all for a few minutes.....and i hate how it feels numb too.....like it is dead

I get it too.. almost every night. It's worse when i'm ON, so I would always attribute it to the extra blood just pooling. Only happens when I sleep with my arms above my head... other than that, the only way i've found to solve it is basically sleep with my arms to my side.

In Jan I developed numbness in my fingers. In weeks it moved up the arms and at night I was in so much pain while laying down that I would wake up. I chose to see a chiropractor who became a chiro, because he had the same thing happen to him as a rugby player, but the doctor he found could only offer pain meds and an operation.
Within a few hours of my first chiro appointment the pain was cut in half.
The chiro said it did appear to be pinched nerves in my shoulders, but without electrical nerve tests he couldn't be 100% positive.
I saw the chiro 3x/week for months. The pain disappeared and the numbness was almost totally gone until 3 weeks ago when I started lifting heavy again. I've narrowed it down to arm day. Two days after arm day I have increased numbness and now pain, but within a few days it subsides. I've talked with other guys in my gym and many get some numbness from time to time.

Everyone needs some deep tissue massages.. make sure they work all around your shoulder girdle specifically as well as your arms, and back... just that... and not the legs prolly get it done in a inexpensive 30 minute appoitment.

anyone have there fingers slightly pop at the knuckles? Mine are the middle fingers. Can't figure if it's the letro, hgh, or the test? Maybe it's payback time for all the people I flipped off as a kid..

it happens to me almost every night. every few months i go to the doctor and he injects me witth anti-inflamitories and then gives me a script for 10 days. for me it's a pinched nerve.

both my arms were numb one night and as i tried to get up i fell out of bed. thats how bad it was for me. i almost dislocated my shoulder with that fall. thats when i went to the doctor.

I get it and I believe that it is due to poor circulation from laying on the shoulder. I found that if I lay on my side with my arm out in front of me (like laying on you bi with a pellow between) I get it more often. To fix the problem I turn me elbow so that it forms a 90 degree angle and then I turn my wrist so that the palm of my hand is facing the celing that most of the numbness goes away.

But as stated earlier this is the price we have to pay to grow. The bigger my shoulders get the more problems I have.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

Otis....Good one.
I've tried a lot of different arm positions without much success.
I've had it bad today and your exercise made a difference.

Thanks,
Mike
