Every now and then, from various ex's in my past. I never really parted on bad terms with anyone...or at least they never held a grudge. I don't usually respond, though, because I don't belive friendship after breaking up is really a good idea.

I agree with you, I generally respond with a concise statement of the facts when I get a question like that....I generally don't get follow ups. There is a good chance she was genuinely concerned about me because she's one of those people that really cares about everyone.

At least when it comes to dealing with ex's and double standards. I wish I had a dollar for every one of my girlfriends that had ex's or wanna be be boyfriends that understood "We're just friends now."

I think that I only crossed the line with her once. She claimed we don't know how many species existed when Noah built his ark so it is perfectly plausible. I'll remind you she has a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I looked at her and said,"Are you serious?"
