Anybody Single, in 30's, with Kids...

lookin for a date??? :qt:

I don't have kids but have dated quite a few single mothers; Have any men with children noticed that women tend to be more judgemental than men when it comes to dating a man with kids? I've had women with multiple children actually comment on how they wouldn't date someone with kids. I know my best friend had this problem consistently. Seems strange to me since most fathers have their children every other weekend, meaning it doesn't put that much extra stress on the relationship. Whereas the typical woman may have her children 100% of the time or except every other weekend?

Having a kid would mean I would've had sex at some point, so no, I do not have kids.

I could imagine having kids would put a strain on dating life though. Best of luck.

Actually that's how I feel. I have two daughter and I don't think I could take care of any more kids...I think I would shoot myself! I think dating someone else with kids...if the relationship works out you end up being the Brady Bunch...and guess who ultimately takes care of the kids...ME...no way!

I've dated some single Moms and found them to be more mature, responsible and together than women without kids...the whole "responsibility thing", you know?

What usually causes me to keep my distance is that there is an asshole ex or "baby's daddy" who is around a lot.

That's exactly why I don't date men with children. All it took was one baby momma to threaten to stab my ass, and I was done for good. There's ties, emotions, and sometimes the mother doesn't know when to mind her fucking business.

So, now I don't want to be bothered.

I wouldn't mind stabbing your ass....for several hours.........okay several minutes...with a blunt cylindrical object.

to seriously answer your question...its very "hit and miss"....women in their 30's are very direct on what they want or dont want....alot of the posts here cover most of the "hazards"- so no need to re-grind....i find it hard to meet ones without a truck load of luggage and 6 kids...ex's who are still in the pic etc etc...ones that are down to earth and arent looking for a millionare....really.

But generally it would only be two weekends a month and my best friend has never asked any girlfriend to "take care of the kids"; I don't believe a single father would generally ask that in a dating scenario anyway. My best friend is engaged and living with his fiancee and still "takes care of the children" in every way. He actually makes the meals and ensures they do all they need to when he has them. A man generally has to deal with the children of his girlfriend all but two weekends a month and on certain holidays.

Thank God my ex is completely out of the picture. I dont have to worry about that at all. Sad for the kids though.

I agree...I am lucky my ex is totally out of the oicture but it's sad for my daughters. I'm 30, have a great career, make great money, own my own house blah blah blah but yes there are certain things I will look for next time around...I do know what I want and dont want. My situation now...it is what it is.

I will credit my parents for two things...one, that I have brains and am not a stupid female, and two the education to have the skills to never ever depend on ANYONE for anything.

The thing about women with kids IS the kids. The kids get attached to you (the guy) or you get attached to the kids usually too soon. Then for the guy if he does not have kids and he is sleeping over at the milf's house it can feel weird to him to be banging the mom and the kids are in the next room or he's walking around in his briefs and bumps into the 12 year old daughter.

Then the kids want to tell the guy about moms other boyfriends and how he's nicer than Tom, Dick, Harry, Tyrone and Billy Bob.

Or the kids want to tell you that YOU AINT MY DADDY....

Guys if you dont know about ladies with kids, you need to know that these are not 22 year old girls with tight bodies, these are real women who have been through it all. Sure they can cook and clean but they ARE NOT looking to take care of another kid (YOU)

Bro's if you are thinking about leaving your wife after 10 years and you are into your 30's now.....The grass is not greener on the other side and the "bar scene" is not what it was when you were 23!

Well I am not in my 30' but close enough and have one child that is 7! And I will say dating was some bull shit! It's like were's WaLdo? Just when you think you have found him... he's an IMPOSTER! and before you know it your on the hunt once again!

bar scene is just a figure of speech.
Dating in your 20's is not the same as 30's, 40's, 50's etc... very very different.

Are you speaking from experience? :) There's alot more then the bar scene.

Now you know, guys just want the pussy. for the most part they don't want a relationship with you are your kid.

Having said that, I do have a relative who has 4 kids and she met a guy who married her and her 4 kids (who never see the real father)

Good for him I say!!!

1) Who's Wado?
2) So are you saying that you're meeting crossdressers or something?

have you ever seen a where's Waldo book? You have to see one to understand what I said.

Pfft. I know Waldo...but you said Wado...so I thought I would be humourous...ah forget it.

I've went on a date with a woman in her 30's. She was 34, had two boys, and loved to get dirty and quick. It was only for fun though. I'd do it again. But not for a serious relationship.

Currently seeing a gal now with a little girl. but she's 23. We'll see how this ends up.

Whiskey

I though all women in there 30's had kids? I also thought all women were divorced? I really don't get this thread.

If you think it is rough being a 30 year old single mom you should try being a 30 year old single guy, no kids, busy job. It's like overnight going from the 'he's single, driven, no drama' to 'creepy, old, strange guy'.'

LMAO! I started to say yes, but then I remembered that I'm 41. Getting early Alzheimers.

Without a doubt. I doubt I will ever get married because I'm too dedicated to my child and I don't want anyone to come between us. Maybe when she's older.

I have my child every day of the week. I will be alone for a long time.

I am 30 yrs old and I have 3 kids who are 11, 6 and 2.(2-boys 1-girl) I am dating someone for 10 months who is 37 and has 3 kids who are 14, 11 and 2.(2-girls 1-boy) The fucking brady bunch but I can tell you this...we have a great relationship and so do our kids. They all get along and we get along with each others kids. This was a very big concern of mine in the beginning...all these damn kids...but everything is working out just fine.

BTW anyone selling a damn bus????? lol

If you're not willing to take on someone's kid, you have no right to expect anyone to take on yours and you have 3. Today, most single men will not get near that.

typical of some women. "I have kids and you have to accept all of us, but YOU have kids? Get the fuck away from me!"

Don't expect a guy to go the extra mile if your not. We can walk out the door just as fast as you can.

being i have 1 child i think for me i would limit the number of kids the woman has to 2 max. only because i would like to have another child of my own blood. so 4 kids total isnt bad, but 5 would be pushing it. she had better be rich and a great piece of ass. ok im kidding, but serious 2 kids is my limit on what the other woman should have.

Really? I figured that they'd just call you gay.

32 and single, but no kids. Dating life in this little town sucks. Well I am picky so to me it sucks. Lots of single, with kids and usually some maladjusted redneck ex to date up here but I am picky and don't want an instant family with a headache father to deal with just now.
I did find someone recently though without kids who ended up here from Minn. with her boyfriend. Currently working on stealing her from her boyfriend and things are looking very good. Yeah I know, usually I don't mess with other people's relationships but this one is too good too pass up.

move to a bigger town and get your own.

What do you think of my baby picture posted on the left side of your screen? Cuttie isn't he? In my eyes all children are like that one!

I would date the right guy even if he had kids, it's the ex that might be the potential deal breaker.

Work keeps me here only. I could move back to Denver and commute I guess, but I would still be gone for too long for most women.
I want to move back to Denver but just not ready for an office job yet.

You thinK you might be out of town too long for most women. My SO travels for work, and it's the greatest thing ever!
More variety in a big city. Besides, if you become the "homewrecker" your gonna get it down the line sooner or later, you now karma. Added that you will never trust her either, it's a lose lose situation.
