Anybody see Trueblood?

I haven't seen the episodes yet, but thats what the chica I went on a date was watching before I picked her up... is it any good?
I know its about vampires, but thats about all...
Is it a good series, or is it a waste of time?

It makes me want to get HBO or whatever channel it's on. The online marketing material they had up & clips made it look interesting. And it's by the guy who did "6 ft Under," so it should be well written.
