I'm 5-7 and used to weigh 230lbs a little more than a year ago. I started my weightloss by simply eating less and working out for hours (but not too hard), the results motivated me and dropped me from like 27% bodyfat to the 12% that im at right now. I didn't go CKD till recently, nor do i recommend it as it does require a bit of discipline and/or motivation and when i was large, i didn't have enough, so i just ate less. now that im looking at the results, im on CKD and its working great for me, the loss is slow, but my plan is to drop to 5-7% bodyfat in 8 more weeks, which is about 14lbs of fat lost in that timeframe. so far, my goals are inline, and although the toughest battles of the bulge are yet to come, im ready for them. I have pics on my profile that show some before/after shots, and as i lose weight i will update, maybe in a couple of weeks.
