indy69camaro said:As many of the vet's on here know I have been gone better part of the last year due to spinal cord injury which lead to surgery, and I have only been working out again for the past 2 weeks, so no where near even being back in the groove yet. Coping with it was and is VERY tough, all I can say is find something or better yet someone that motivates you to get out of the depression slump. For me, my cousin and I who is in Iraq, started talking and emailing daily. After seeing what those guys are going thru over there, and seeing their progress and taking the time everyday to workout or do cardio while fighting the war in between every workout, I figured if they can do it, I can do it. I'm proud to say that I have been sending cases of Beverly International protein powder and supplements to the war for soldiers to use over that cheap crap they were trying to stomach from local sources and military stock. their progess over the last 9 months has been inspirational, I hope this helps, it's a deep slump and hard to crawl out of.
