Why not just call me out directly? I am the same member that had the back and forth with you a few months ago. Unfortunately, the powers that be had those threads deleted when they took a nasty turn after you began acting like a condescending know-it-all. Notice, I'm referring to the way you were acting then, I'm not insulting you right now.

Then I got banned by needto for "stirring up shit" when all I was doing was debating. So what if mutual insults were exchanged, the debate was heated, shit like that happens. You guys are too sensitive.

The so what is that it is against the rules in every forum here except Chat. You want to hurl insults? Go to Chat. The members there will tear you up and enjoy every minute of it.

If you need to have me banned again because I don't fit in with the agenda of this forum, then so be it.

Part of the agenda of this forum is that you respect other members (all members). That's where you can't seem to fit in.

I (and other mods) don't have a problem with any civil debate. I don't think any of the sponsors do either. If you get into a disagreement in this forum (or any forum but chat) just keep it civil and respectful. If you can't do that you are breaking the rules and will be subject to a timeout or a ban. There's no anarchy here. There is order.

The rules are in a sticky at the top of the forum. Please familiarize yourself with them. If you have any questions after reading the rules, feel free to PM a mod for clarification (though they are pretty simple).

I was involved in that thread. I hope you guys don't think I was trying to stir shit because I was most certainly not.

I love this place and have learnt so much in my short time here.

I have to admit though I understand why some people can become so suspicious regarding products in the supplement industry. Sometimes you can't help but ask a lot of questions, question motives ect, especially when you are new and havn't experienced the products.

Asking questions and or asking some one to explain how and why something does work. Or why one is better then the other is fine.
When you do so in a disrespectful or attacking manner that is another.

Or when it becomes clear you have a agenda then that is also not ok ether. The fact is I love it when people ask questions about products I make. I love it when they try to debate them with me too. Its free advertising and a chance for me to prove the products worth... But when some one is just trying to be a jerk that is different and will not be tolerated.

I totally agree. The issue was, and if anyone was around during that exchange between Nelson and myself they would remember, I wasn't the first to hurl an insult. He basically said I was out of my league for trying to debate with him and referred to me as a "kid" that could only cut & paste medical studies. This happened well before we even got into a good debate. I hardly even insulted him... I think I called him arrogant and he got all wound up and started to insult me. So I returned the favor a couple of times.

I'm not going to insult someone for no reason. I never do that. Nelson has earned any and every insult flung his way.

The main reason the debate got heated is because IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DEBATE WITH NELSON ABOUT HIS PRODUCTS BECAUSE HE WILL NOT DEBATE!

I've been around a long time, so I'm sure I was here. But, I'm not about to go look for an obscure old thread, especially if it's somewhere in the recycle bin! That's over. It was then, not now.

If it's impossible to debate with Nelson, then don't debate. Just post your studies, facts, and opinions without emotion. I had a boss once that used to tell me to look at an issue and remove all emotions and get to the facts. Well, this is not an exact science, so there will be opinions. But again, state them without the emotion. What works with you might not work with others. Posting abstracts of one subject in a non placebo controlled, non peer reviewed study doesn't really lend much credibility to any argument either. Try that with a doctor, pharmacist, scientist, etc. They will "lol". Trust me!

If you do this and Nelson, or anyone else starts hurling insults, just take out the emotion and state your opinion WITHOUT slinging mud back. That way you can't have any fingers pointing at you. I know it's hard for most people to not fight back, but really...this is the internet. There's no threat here. It's not like Nelson's going to be able to punch you in the face or anything. LOL!

Does his product being natural (plant derived) mean your body is doing something natural in response to them? No. They work just like any other drug to illicit a response.

Not necessarily any other drug because drugs have different pathways, and hell, some drugs do things that scientifically/medically still can't be explained...but I get what you are saying. Yes, in our case of HPTA, something gets stimulated somewhere along the path to produce a response. As far as natural...let's not forget where this all started. Chinese have been using botanicals for centuries. There are mnay drugs that were derived from botanicals (plants/herbs) too. So yes, they are similar.
