Any way to increase my bone thickness?

wanderlust

New member
I'm fully grown (age 21). My wrists are 6.5 inches around...very small boned, and what's worse, I'm tall too (6' 5"). You can imagine I look extremely gangly.

I'm working out like hell trying to put on muscle.

But, is there a way to put on bone, like, make my bones "bigger"? Big bones look much better IMHO. Also less breakable.

I'm guessing this is impossible...but...?

lol, I drink about 3/4 gallon of skim a day, and I always drank a ton of milk during childhood, no bro, it's genetics but I wanna know if I can change it :)

When I get the feeling that I need thicker bones .... I just tell my chcisk they need to work harder to get me excited more.

Your bones should still be gowing for a little while. Obviously, take a lot of calcium, but make sure you get plentiful amounts of Vitamin D because it's necessary for your body to use the Calcium. There are suppliments related to Calcitonin (hormonal Ca regulation) which increase osteoblast activity. You're not going to notice huge results but at the very least your bones will become denser. Weight lifting also helps bone density a lot, not much on bone size though. My suggestion is just put on a shit load of muscle, then your wrists will look bigger.

bigger bones

the best way to bigger bones is to take calcitonin injection or miacalcin nasal spray. they inhibit osteoclast activity (the part that the body uses to break down extra bone tissue) and promote osteoblast activity, you should make sure to increase the amount of magnesium you take while using calcitonin

Bone Density

GH increases bone density by poviding a better assimilation of calcium in the bone. (that is why it is prescribed to osteoperosis and AIDS patients).

Deca-Durabolin does NOTHING for the bones....what it does is namely "lube up" the joints while you are on thus allowing you to lift heavier and heal injuries.

With the exception to GH...

You can control density, but you have no control over diameter or length.

Look at Flex Wheeler. Small boned. Even his skull suggests this. Tiny hips, narrow shoulders, thin rib cage. He wins why? Those small bones = small joints = more impressive looking peaks and more area for the muscle to "Stand off" the joint. If you ever saw pictures of him when he just started...you would see, he was a skinny guy! He can't be the biggest, but he could be the best IMHO. This is why when standing relaxed his pecs look a little flat and small, but when he hits a most muscular, BOOM, everything leaps off his body!

Now, look at someone like Scott Steiner. Huge rib cage. Huge pecs. But they are very unimpressive looking because they cover such a LARGE space on his body.

About the only good thing big bones do for you is

A) strength via stronger attachment points
B)wide hips = wide lats! (Dorian, Ronnie, yada yada yada)
