Hat's off to you, ZEUS. Stepping back from the bravado, it's true that the Air Force does take the best care of it's folks, and they sleep in apartments instead of quonset huts or holes. We used to make lots of fun at the squids for their pansy-assed PT, but when you think about it, they generally don't need a high level of fitness to do what they do, as opposed to having to hump a ruck for many miles and still be ready to fight. As far as ease of service goes, I hear the USAF is it, with job skills like you said. So yeah, Zeus, you get an Amen.
Dylan - I don't believe any Force Recon Marines ever moved over to another service, but I do know some Marines who went 18B when they couldn't get into Force Recon. I'm not saying FR is better than 18B (I actually think all the elites are pretty on par), it's just that Force Recon is such a small group, folks have better luck trying 18B where there are more slots. No offense intended earlier. Hell, considering today's Pepsi Generation, anyone in the service is a patriot in my book.
