Ok a little update.Its my girls Jeep and she had originally had a quick lube place try to charge it and they said it was fully charged.(which now I know it wasnt)My buddy checked online and it said the rpm 's need to be elevated while taking a charge.So he did this and it took a full can of ac coolant and it instantly kicked on the compressor.It worked for about 15 minutes and then he drove it down the street and it stopped working.Could it be the high ,low sensor at the condensor?
Oh and yeah Wood I tried that and I was thinking about blowing this f-er up!

Just found out that the compressor is bad.Thanks for all the suggestions.

Are you sure? If the clutch engaged and kicked on the compressor, it's not that.

The clutch is wore out,when you tap on the front of it hard it will start spinning but then it will stop after a few seconds.Then if you tap it again it will fire back up.So maybe I dont need the whole compressor just the clutch?

be sure to tell the mechanic to check the regulator on your manifold
