ive actually heard that this fish has one of the highest protein contents also
(to bad it tastes like cardboard)

Tilapia gets old in a hurry. What's grouper and snapper going for over there right now? I was thinking of heading down to Joe Patti's here and grabbing some.

everything is through the roof right now-paying 3.85 for gags and as much for genuine red snaps, were charging 12.95 in the mrkt for both on fillet.

even mangrove snapper is going for high two's and it was always a 2 dollar fish

I usually wait for the sunday paper and find out where the cheapest meat/ fish sale is....and load up on it

I bag the meat up into portions in sandwich bags and throw them in the freezer

**** TRy preseasoning or marinating when you are packaging the meat into sandwich bags.

MY favorite is filet mignon (when I can get it cheap) encrusted in black pep
percorn. or chicken in italian dressing. fish with old bay / lemon/lime juice

I take out enough portions in the morning to defrost for the rest of the day. VOILA
