Any body ever grow pot?

Nobody ever grows pot.
In fact, it's never grown....ever.
It doesn't even exist.
PS. There are probably hundreds of boards better suited towards this particular brand of felony.

My buddy does. his lights cot him close to $1000. then ya gotta buy rockwell(for hydro), not sure how much that cost. Then he spent another $1000 on an air purification system. a few hun on the watering system add in mylar(reflective material for inside grow box), chemicals, and I believe ya get a total around $2500. Now thats a start up cost. After that I think he said he spends about $800 to get going each time. Now he was also yielding 2-3 lbs of some of the best weed I've ever smoked or even seen. Each pound would sell for over $4000.
Then again I also had a friend who bought a light and a pot. he grew mediocre weed and it set him back less than $500.

It depends on the scale on which you want to grow. I had my own plant that I grew to be nearly a meter high. However, after a few months I forgot to water it and it died like a true stoner. Fuck you.
The lights cost me about $30 but I vould have used more lighting. You just need fluorescent lights if memory serves thsat you can buy at a hardware store. Obviously, the mor plants you have the more lighting you need. Actually, day light worked best for me - I just put my plant in the window and away it went. There is something about giving it like 12 hours of light for the first few months and then closer to harvest time you up that to 18 hours a day, and then it needs complete darkness for the rest of the time. My buddy has only a few plants going and gets plenty of good weed from his plants. In fact, if you konw someone who already has a plant, then you can just snip a small branch off, plant it in some soil, and it'll start growing into a full-sized plant. Works like a charm. Good luck.

the lights you want to use are hps. if you can afford it it's best to buy mv lights for vegatative phase then hps for flowering. all in all for under 850 dollars you can yield about 6-8 lbs of high grade.

Ive posted previously on growing pot, you should find it in a search..
I used to grow big-time, 3 room operation.. but that was a few years ago.. havent been into that in awhile.. I used to get bad dreams and bad feelings about it and quit before it was too late.. about 6 months after I moved out of that house the rest of the guys who lived there were busted and on the news and shit.. (they all got diversion and no record, an Orlando thing)
It isn't too much $$$ to get started..
Rockwool is the best to grow in if you are using hydroponic solutions for food, the rockwool acts like a sponge and the roots get plenty of nutrients.. with rockwool there is little mess and no soil..
Lights will cost you the most, unless you steal them. stole some high pressure sodium lights/ballasts from parking lots and metal halide lights from parking garages.. You can get a nice bulb for your newly acquired ballasts for around 60$.. metal halide has the blues for growing, hps has the reds for flowering.. flourescent will work fine for small plants and clones.
Mylar isnt too expensive and will help keep the heat in and keep the plants well lit.
Sativa strains take a long time to grow and grow tall.
Indica strains are short and bushy and have about 8 week flowering time. Probably takes another 8 weeks to get them from clones to flowering state.
also take into account that you have to identify and kill the male plants, if you are lucky more than 50% will be female but that doesnt always happen.
I learned everything from HighTimes and from the books you can get online. If you're gonna grow, get a Marijuana Law book, you may need it.
