AntiVirus for 64-Bit Windos XP Pro ? ? ? ?

I don't know whats wrong with it either. It just crashed on me a coupel of times per day, and then eventually 7x in one night and then 10x the next day. I had to put my system on the shelf.
The blue screen of death and wasted work just kept attacking my progress. File after file just kept getting lost in between the progress being saved. Rough drafts of e-mails and even PMs were lost just seconds before I clicked the "Send" button. A error blue screen telling me to so stuff to fix my system and that it was shutting down kept appearing... It was too much.

I will go back to Vista one day when they fix it all. Till then I am happy be living in XP.

I love Xp and even put up a stink when buying my lap top, I wanted a new one that had Xp on it instead of vista as the stories that I had heard were terrible. Well in the price range that I had with me cash and the fact that I needed the pc the day before I bought it I had no choice. I settled for vista and figured I would cross switching when I hit it..Though I have had this lap top for a while now and vista has been fine for me

Vista is more than fine - as long as you get the service packs and more than 1 gig of memory.

Few people only hear the old perception and run away. I put my vista through cpu hell, and it eats it all up every day.

If you have a dual or quad core, multi processor with more than 1 GB of RAM and 2.0 GHz and enough cache, you can run vista and be quite happy with it.

Vista slows down your computer and you will feel it if you're looking at a 1.8 MHz and a shit processor. But with a good enough computer, processor and RAM, Vista is beautiful.

It had a shitload of bugs when it first came out, most were removed though.

Regardless, I'd go with Symantec for antivirus.
