My brother was 5150 crazy paranoid schizophrenic and a gun lover. So don't tell me shit how you know. I lived it from when I was 16 until he died 2 years ago. And it was my dad's and my responsibility to keep guns away from him.
Again it's the parents not the guns or the laws.

Yes it's the parents and the adults and teachers responsibility to look for signs that something is wrong but the liberals in our country don't see it this way and will try their hardest to ban as many guns as they can

well...if my theory holds water?? she bought the guns for him...they were registered in her name because he hadn't reached the age where he was legally allowed to own them in connecticut. and, if so, her possession of them was likely not completely legal either, as he would likely have taken them to the range and used them with her permission but without her supervision...like i said...bookmark it...then we'll revisit the topic in a few days when there are some more facts available.

if she allowed him to spend unsupervised time at the range with a handgun?? i'll bet that's illegal as hell in connecticut...it is here in PA...and CT's gun laws are a LOT more stringent than ours.

What state do you live in that a firing range allows a minor without parental supervision fire weapons? In my state all weapons used brought to a range better be licensed and the owner better be be present or they are confiscated and turned over to the authorities.
