not a three year old...still a bit wild animal at that point..
my second youngest used to slap at everyone, scratch, pinch...none of the four ever bit for some reason..
now when the youngest (18mths) does it to her shes deeply wounded by it...can't believe Fi would do anything like that to her
she's 5 and wouldn't dream of it now
The youngest is actually a hair grabber and she has definitely never seen anyone in the house do it but knows its gets a big reaction out of her sister.
learning to NOT hit as an appropriate response to frustration is kind of the norm
very little impulse control in a small child no matter what they've modeled
