Another Injection Pain rant

I have been using an Enan/Cyp blend (400mg/ml). Some people call it T400. Anyway, I have been injecting into the quad...... at first I did 1ml once per week. I have since split it into 2 shots per week.

The pain is almost crippling at times........I limp around like some kind of gimp. Since splitting the shots in 2 the pain is not quite as bad, but still annoying as hell. Ibuprofen seems to ease it a little.

What really pisses me off is that my friend and I are doing this cycle together and we are using the exact same stuff, drawing out of the same vial, and he has NO pain whatsoever!!! What the hell???

I have never stuck myself in the glute, but I guess I am going to have to try it on my next shot day (tomorrow).......... what really sucks is that both legs are sore now. ha ha ha ha no pain, no gain.....right?

I would try cutting it with sterile sesame seed oil or some other oil. I am sure it is just heavy on the solvents and that can really wreak havoc on local tissue.

well since your friend is shooting the same stuff without a problem then it might just be you...everyone's body reacts differently to gear so your body just might react negatively towards it...you can always try heating up the gear before injection as well as try another spot...ie. glutes, delts etc.

also, your sterilization techniques might not be up to par...be sure to use a fresh needle for every shot (1 to draw, 1 to shoot with), use rubbing alcohol on the injection site prior to injection, wash your hands as well and be sure to rub the injection site for atleast 45 seconds after the shot...this is all common practice but hey, you can never be too careful...plus make sure you're injecting in the right spot

is your firend doing anything such as, warming the vial, using a heating pad on the injection site, massage the area, workout the bodypart you inject into the same day. These things may help but T-400 is notorious for pain.

+1 and cut with seasame oil

I had same exact experience with some test. e, while my friend had zero pain.

I thought i was being some kind of pussy. But i switched brands and bingo, no pain.

Some people just react to BA different.

If I shoot in my quads I have to use a 1" slinpin or it hurts like a mofo. I think I just happen to have lots of nerves there. I can use 21s for bi's, tri's lats whatever else, but not in my quads.

My friend doed nothing different. In fact we usually sit right there together and do your business........ The only thing that I did notice about him is that he pushes the needle in really, really slow.

Anyway, I am just going to switch to the glute today and see what happens.

Thanks for the repsonses

That makes a difference, dont rush the shot. Ive been shooting about 1.8ml of gear each shot, and try to take a little over a minute for the whole thing to go down. So far so good, although last night the dead leg feeling was ridiculous. Today Im only feelin it climbing stairs or bending my leg drastically. Take your time, no rush.

and +1 on heating with hair dryer and using a fresh needle after you draw, never used to do either and it makes a hell of a difference.

Yeah, I have started using a fresh needle everytime. I just shot my glute and it was much easier than the quad.

Sometimes when I stick myself in the quad I might get a little twitch in the area or sometimes there is just an uncomfortable feeling....

In the glute I felt absolutely nothing. I will report back tomorrow about whether or not there is any soreness.

Twitch comes from hitting a nerve, it happens... high and outside and you should avoid it most of the time. I just started shootin quads a couple of weeks ago, and so far it hasnt been a problem, although last night I was gettin a weird weakness kinda feeling in my knee..but my knee is fucked up so it might have just been from that.. not really sure. Legs a little dead today but not too bad. Either way, changing the pin and slow injections are key.

Well, 24 hours after shooting into the glute for the first time............ it has not answered my prayers. lol

Both my quads are still sore from last week....and now I feel like someone sliced open my ass cheek, inserted a baseball, then sewed it back up.

It hurts to sit or stand.

At least my gains are awesome.

try this and report back. everyone that tries it has reported good results.

take in 2 - 3 grams of beta-alanine about half hour b4 your shot.

the likely mechanism of action is that beta-alanine boosts carnotine synthesis and carnotine helps clear toxins from the working muscle. (its sports application is to buffer lactic acid allowing you do push tru more reps b4 the pain gets too bad. )

I have bad news for ya partner, if you are like me & are BA sensitive, all of the tricks in the world will not get rid of the pain. I have been dealing with it for nearly 10yrs, it all depends on the brand. Everytime I find a gear that doesn't leave me limping for a couple of days, they seem to go under. I'm going to give ICN a try to see if that helps next time. I ran LSP Cyp cut w/EQ this past time for 18wks and every one of them left me with pain. I have learned to plan my injection sites around my workouts, because I usually have around 24hrs before it starts hurting too bad. I'll hit a delt the day prior to delt workout, quad the night prior to legs. This seems to help spread the irritation out instead of one golf ball sized knot that hurts like hell.
