Another Fun Sunday, 10-09-03

I had a great day as well ... here's my numbers

Chain suspended gm's- 185lbs x 1...HUGE PR The most i've ever done is 125.

Conan's wheel- 285lbs for almost a full turn.. at bfolds bluegrass competition I could not even lift the 300 lbs so this time I was determinded to get it or alteast as close as possible!!! I accomplished it!!! YEAH

Farmers-105lbs each hand x 80ft and I actually picked up 145lbs each hand but I could not walk....so I take it as a partial deadlift pr!!!

Tire Flip-350lb x 5 flips

Fingers- I got the first two and almost got the third

I tried the 160 stone but I could not budge it just yet but I will try again some other time!

I thought everyone did great.! I was happy to see everyone again. Have a great night. I'm getting ready to do ohp with the guys...I hope I can keep up!!!

WOW! 185x1....thats pretty damn strong

Thanks for posting the vids Cheesecake!!!! Loved them. I look so slow on my farmers...must go faster.

I just wish that everyone could give these events a try to realize that it takes a lot more than just strength to do these events...it takes lots of balls. Without the heart and balls to do the events...the implement just sits there and looks back at you...and sometimes it laughs.

Didn't look slow to me either.

You can't really see it on the video, but you actually held the farmer's for a second or two after you finished walking with them.

Doing the events is definitely a lot more than just having gym strength, though that helps. I think I'm hooked.

Sorry I'm just now posting this. Sunday was awesome! Thanks to everyone for their support and advice. It was such a blast, I cannot wait to do it again.

Here's my 411:

Chain suspended GM - 175x1; 20 lb PR

Conan's Walk 195x 1/2 turn; I attempted the 285 but I could barely lift it off the ground. Maybe next time!

Farmer's walk - 105 in each hand for 80 ft and 145 each hand for 40 ft (I actually yelled when I was doing the 145; I think I was most proud of my yelling since it was the first time I made that kind of noise :D ) Cheesecake said "you screamed like a girl!"

Tire flip - 350 x 7 flips

Fingled fingers - I got the first three and I attempted the 4th one twice, but it just wasn't my day

Stones - I attempted the 160 stone. Maybe next time on these too!

My entire body is still sore but it was soooo worth it. Clint, thank you for taking the time to talk me through some of the events. And thank you to Jason as well......
