I based the calories on the worksheet as your wieght times 12, which should be a good measurement to loose wieght if you are an active person. Most people say that 10-12 times your bodyweight is your metabolic usage of calories for the day without any activity.. thats if you just laid there and did nothing.. so if you take in that amount of calories.. you will be burning calories all day through whatever activities you do..
