BRO! I am so sorry to hear that....now have you been to a good HRT doctor, or a holistic, functional, integrative medicine doc? All depends on where you live, but if you found someone who was very well schooled they could help you out BIG TIME...
I do not want to get too much into personal history, but Ive been a competitive athlete my entire life, and typically 230lbs at 10% BF naturally....thats from my teenage years through my 30s...I had some major health problems that left me diagnosed with among many other things, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia (sp you know what I mean pain all over the fkn place), and I was nearly 270 at 30% BF and couldnt walk a mile on a treadmill from pain...it took a good 1.5 years of hard core supplementation, nutritional dialing in, lots of vitamin IVs and injections, and lots of mind-body work (relaxation is soo crucial if you do happen to have adrenal fatigue)....I was also so bad I was on every hormone under the sun it seemed, including thyroid and cortisol....I eventually came back down to 230 pounds where I normally would be...then once I was healthy enough to lift weights popped back up to 240 pounds and now depending on how I eat and train am 240-250 around 10%, last year I dipped down to 7.5% BF but it was training twice a day (on small HRT doses not even a blast)....
Anyhow, I feel your pain and so urge you to start googling functional and integrative medicine in your area....if you can find a doctor to do labs, blood, pee, saliva, etc, you can maybe get some help....it could be a plethora of things and typical doctors wont be able to find the needle in the haystack if there is one....Im off cortisol and thyroid, still on Test and GH, but the main thing is I feel like a normal human being and have cognitive clarity, enough energy to work and go about my day, and still get after it in the gym (but only after doing nearly 2 years of recovering my adrenals).
Dont give up hope...fight the good fight...if you have not yet, start looking up stuff on adrenal fatigue as there are some good websites, and thyroid....you might end up reading something that strikes a cord and is something you can get help with. Square that stuff away first, then worry about hitting the sweet juice.
