No need to apologize, you've been through hell it sounds like. I've been lucky enough never to have had a kidney infection, but my father has so I have seen what type of pain it can put people though. I am so sorry to hear about that.

No worries about Saturday, have fun with the godparents. Would you still be interested in getting together some time in the near future? If so, let me know when you might have some time. Personally, I'd be thrilled to see you again.

I will send a quick reply back, telling her I hope she feels better soon and what not, but I got the impression from that email and her actions that she wasn't so interested.

I wouldn't be totally sure of that just yet. You could very well be right but I'd still give her a chance based on that email.

Lestat - don't ask her out again. You've made it clear already that you'd like to see her again. She knows this from the voicemail you left her. The ball is in her court for future dates together. Simply say everything you said in that email but leave out the part where you're asking her out on Saturday. Let her come to you now. She will if she's interested.

Dude, she may be totally backing out with an illness excuse. There is no way of knowing. If she had just said "Im real busy, I'll call when things settle down" then the ball would be in her court.

But she claims an illness. You are not only entitled, but obligated, to make a gesture. Otherwise you are just communicating "I have no use for you unless your healthy and able to entertain me." She will likely blow off the offer, but you put the ball back in her court. You took your shot, now its up to her

Perfect, but I`m gonelifting and have very low standards. lol

I agree with velvett about her not blowing you off. She still may be cool. Those are valid excuses but there`s a fine line. Personally I think she`s still good to go but may not feel the same exact way you do about her, so you may need to do a little more work to "hook" her. Has she seen your penis? lol ahhhh!!.

One clarification

Even if she says no to the sick visit, that doesn't necessarily mean she isnt interested. She may not be ready to let you see her at less than her best at the moment. But by offering you demonstrated concern, and you left it her obligation to set up an alternative when things calm down. Otherwise if you want to hook up you are going to have to wait for her to get better, and make a move then. Kind of cheesy
