US policy has not been one of helping everyone out. It is a moreso a policy which does the best to insure its own interests. There really is nothing wrong with that policy at all. I have no problem with it at all. But the fact that Kayne would not even acknowledge that fact and go on and think that the US is some charity irks me.

That was not an attitude - just a fact. That is the way it is if you are the weaker military state on a continent in close proximity. I was not being condescending, just calling it like it is. You Canadians have a real problem with being the weaker of the two nations - something you resent IMO. I however have no problem with your people. our liberal government is assholes but we arent weaker just less man power,ask any real military member from either side who is not in denial and they will tell you who is best,i see us as equals because of our training vs your man power

Read above statement and understand that under the context of this whole arguement it seems as though you two feel that everything you say must be true because you are American and we are Canadian. Actually, your posts haven't been as arrogant or ignorant as that of your comrade and for that i give you a measure of credit.

I hold no resentment for you. I do have some qualms, maybe some bitterness, toward some American policies which give Canada the short end of the stick. However, i can deal with that.
