New member
to be done 2-3 times a week

this program is unjusted for my physical parameters so some isolation movment are incorporated

DEADLIFTS 3-4 sets

DIPS 3-4 sets

CLOSE GRIP PULL DOWNS 1-2 sets

CABLE FLYS 1-2 sets

MILITARY PRESS 2-3 sets

DB PREACHER CURLS 2-3 sets

TRI CABLE PRESS DOWN 2-3 sets

LEG LIFTS (ABS) 2-3 sets

---------------------------------------------

Light cardio on non lifting days:)

........................

I personally used FB routines for most of 2002 with great results. Here's what I did:

1-2 sets.

Squat
OHP
BBrows
Inc.Bench
Chins
Dips
Calves

as for your routine I would personally drop flyes, pressdowns and preachers and do this:

do how many sets you need.

Deads
Military
Pull ups
Inc.Bench
BBcurl
Dips
abs

I don't even think that program would be effective... IMO...

the original old school program done by reg park is this:

Bench 5x5
Curls 4x6
Seated behind the neck press 4x6
bent Over Rows 4x6
squat 5x5
deads 5x5

you probably already know this but I'm just trying to remind you what an old school program really looks like

no I did not THANKYOU =)

Where the hell is this thread going??! :)

I don't think I've ever seen a good routine, let alone an OLD SCHOOL routine without squats...

Squats and Deadlifts have taken me so far as it is now... I don't know if I could do a workout without them... (for those bodyparts)... at leats until I need to back off the deads for a little while.

Im just curious...What r your goals, why dont you try Corn's plan, what are your "physical parameters" you mentioned? Also you should add 20-rep squats if you can, or 20-rep Deads. You also may want to make a sched. where u do diff. excersises mon. wed. fri. if possible. But of course thats just my opion.

Wheres 'olio when ya need him?

ThANKS!
goals are I am cutting now it its going well, but I wanted for a couple of weeks to do something more simple while I focus on cardio.

as for Sqaute Citrus...........my quads, and actually whole lower body is very much in order, I used to squat into the sunset and superset that with deads when i played football, my legs are jacked to boot, I have fully developed tear drops yet I have not done a leg extention in 3 years lol

SQAUTS 4

DEADLIFTS 4

DIPS 4

CABLE FLYS 2

PULLUPS 3

MILITARY PRESS 3

BARBELL CURLS 3

TRICEP PRESS DOWNS 2-3

LEG RAISES 2-3

THATS WHAT I AM GONNA DO:)

......................

what kind of frequency do you plan on using? I suggest you alternate between squats and deads each workout day.

well here is what I did today

jogged 1.5 miles outside to warm up, went to the gym anf hit it hard but brief.

I do this every other day followed by complete rest days.

carbs on lifting days (pre and post workout),

and on off days only 1 carb meal in the am

thanks for the suggestion with deads and squates good point =)
