That people lie about their bf% on here.I'm not making accusing anyone..LOL I just notice in a lot almost all post people say their 13% or lower and I always woundered to myself how many people lie about that..again not accuseing just a random though as I sit here

No I totally agree. I either think there lying or they just dont really have a clue or know what sub 13% really is, usually the later I bet.

I remember seeing a guy on here saying he walks around year round about 3%. I laughed pretty hard on that one.
 
BF % is hard to gauge, I don't even try to guess. If I look good to me and am growing I'm happy
 
Just remind them that if they don't have a visable defined 6 pack they are definately above 12%. I figure I am about 20% right now myself.... hince my cut. Your point is valid however... most of these guys have no clue with 12% actually looks like.

Also as to the above 400 bench... it is important to remind kids that a 405 bench doesn't count if they bounce it off their chest or even worst don't even touch their chest. Since most people will still accept TNG if you post a video perhaps it isn't critical that you bench perfect but bouncing or not doing full ROM doesn't fucking count... and even TNG guys will have their ego shattered if they ever doing a powerlifting meet and found out in a meet for a lift to count you have to actually hold it on your chest until the ref gives you the command to press... and if your ass/shoulders leave the bench or your feet move 1/2" from the original position you set them in... your bench doesn't count... so that 405 bench can very quickly turn into a 345 bench. However for net purposes most of us will count tng as long as your ass doesn't come 4" off the bench. lulz
 
I think to a large extent is more just not having an idea of what certain percentages look like and it's often just a wild geuss

Also I one needs to remember 13 percent with alot of muscle looks way different to 13 percent without
 
yes they do. i remember one dude who claimed he was 15% body fat. but he had a page connected to his handle with pics of himself. he was more like 33%+ no joke.

i am pretty good though at getting someone's height/weight/age/experience and guestimating their body fat. and when i call them out cause they are BS'ing they say they will put up a pic soon, and they never do. one dude recently said he was my height and 35 pounds more, but the same body fat as me. i called bullshit. i am pretty muscular so for him to have 35 pounds more muscle than me and him never juiced and only been training for a couple years was flat out impossible... I'm sorry but I am not gonna give someone advice who posts unrealistic stats.

pretty much if you are over 18% body fat I am always gonna tell you to get your diet and cardio in order first before juicing. people think i am giving guys hard times but you need space to be able to put on some fat when you run a cycle and bulk. and cutting at 18% using steroids is a waste of juice, when you could train natty for a couple months and fix your diet and drop under 15% easily.

in person i would never advise someone to juice who was too fat, so it would be immoral to do it on here. a lot of guys know me already on here and know that i practice what i preach so they avoid me totally and don't even come to me for help cause they know what I am gonna say, i'm proud of that reputation. one day they will realize that mean steve was right all along and then they will swallow their pride and ask for my help and I will be waiting. i know who these guys are on here too. DIET DIET DIET DIET and cardio. thats how you cut fat.
 
as far as the strength claims anyone can easily verify that too by putting up a vid of themselves. someone like moya who is like 150 pounds and squats 420+ (real squats) and posts a vid gets my respect over someone who makes outrageous claims.

anyone can BS squat 400 pounds on the smith machine, do it for real though and I'll be impressed.

I think sticking that BF% link is a good idea. Great link for those who have no idea about body fat percentages.
I had no idea about BF% till I started reading the elite fitness forums 6 months ago.

body fat calipers are not accurate, neither are scales that tell you your bf percentage, there are methods out there more accurate ,however the best and cheapest way is to take pics
 
I love seeing people post "I am 5%-12% bf". It's like holy shit... 5 - 12? Really? Somewhere around there? Somewhere between super ripped and almost have abs showing? Another thing, I find it hard to take advice from some people who don't have pics of themselves. Especially guys saying they bench 350-400. I wanna see wtf you look like if you are claiming huge benches and giving me advice.

ya, its ELITE FITNESS. but were here to help eachother progress. AT ALL LEVELS!!! Not blow eachother off and make ridiculous claims that most people on here will never obtain....just sayin. How many people on here will ever have a 400+ bench? not many....

BTW, I bench no where near 315 at the end of my chest workout. lol that was just for some hypothetical bs. lol

the problem becomes as I illustrated in my earlier post when someone says their diet is perfect and they are 12% body fat. when their diet is actually crap and they are 30%.. and you give them advice on AAS, then they go and do it and wind up with a stroke cause they never exercised before and their HR and blood pressure go sky high...

i think its very immoral to give anyone advice without their honest stats. we actually always ask a new guy his stats when he first comes on here. and usually i believe they tell the truth, but there are some guys who lie about their age, body fat, experience just so we will give them advice. and its easy to sniff these guys out.

one of my ideas which I will be bringing up at the next staff meeting would be to require new guys on AAS to post pics of themselves (head is not necessary) and give us full stats before we give AAS advice. this way we can match the stats to the pic and know if they are being honest. I know it takes a certain number of posts to get pics up and that is fine, atleast this way they would of read and chimed in on threads first instead of being totally cold. 5 years ago or even 10 years ago that would of been a dumb idea.. but today with everyone having camera phones and digital camera's it takes literally 5 minutes to take a pic and upload it on here.

Good idea, and if they post up a picture of a guy who is 6'0 240 @ 8% bf then they do not need advice about steroids..

I don't ask advice. Good thing since I'm 6'2" 247 fasted and 10%. which btw isn't that big at all when you are that tall ad long limbed. Sure it's noticable but it's nothing like the same weight on a shorter guy.

Don't post pics ever as I have easy to identify tats.
 
^^^ its not all about body fat though.. if you look at that link they have 2 guys at 10% body fat. one has 15 pounds extra of muscle, the guy on the right is a skinny 10%.

so just cause someone is 10% body fat doesn't mean they are ready to juice. thats why a pic is important.

I am sorry bro, my numbers are a little skewed for you. Let me restate what I really mean. If a guy posts up pictures and looks "jacked," he is probably being fraudulent, is that better?? Please, do not respond by saying there are people who can be jacked natural. I think my point got acrossed to the people who know what I meant/mean, considering this thread is about people who are BSing about their stats.
 
Guess I miss-understood. Yes claiming to be "natural" when it's clear you are not is fraudulent.
 
Well believe it or not my bf is 12% but It will go up pretty quick as I'm currently on a bulker....and I ain't go to prove it with pics .. Like Ck says haters gonna hate ......
 
I need to block out my face on my avatar pic. That way I won't feel paranoid "if" I ever decided to start a 'real' cycle. Not that it has my 'normal' face anyways. What's up with me and my "quotes"?
 
Thanks man. That was a few weeks after Helladrol. Seemed like my body kept adjusting to the strength I gained from Helladrol. I need to cut, though. But it did put size on me. And honestly, the big visual changes were most noticeable weeks 3 and 4 of PCT. I really liked the results I got from Hella. I'm 217lbs in that pic.

Then I got braces lol. Yes, I am 26. I dropped to 205lbs in a few days. Major teeth pain. Ran beast, hit 228lbs, and now almost 4 weeks after that, I'm 220 lbs. I'm easing into a slow cut. I've got another bottle of beast to run after my cut. Probably in 3 or 4 months. Fun stuff.
