Am I Overtraining?

Just curious to what people think to my training routine.

I do lower bod days on Monday and Thursday. But I also like to do speed/agility and cardio on the bike on wensdays. So my question is, my legs will be still be sore by wensday and probably still feel sore by thrusday...could i be over training with this routine? FYF I do heavy lifting and mondays and lighter on thrusdays.

Some cardio the day after legs is good for recovery and helps to avoid DOMS.

If you do not increase the weight you are training with on legs though, you are probably overtraining.

Just watch that and adjust your training as you see fit.

Thanks for the input...i like the adjusting idea. Not sure what DOMS are but it sounds like i want to stay away from that.

Yah i could fit biking in on leg days...but i like doing sprint training on those days. Ill let you know how it goes tomorrow..see how my body will hold up.

your not over training, you may not be used to the volume but your not overtraining. make sure your protein intake is high and your getting the cals you need and you should be fine, your probably just exhausted from the large volume of work. your body needs to build work capacity slowly.

Yah that sounds about right...i guess i was just paranoid or something.
Yesterdays workout seemed a little tough, even though it was supposed to be a lighter lift, but i completed all the lifts without much struggle. All in all, it was a good day.

DOMS = Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness bro. It's inevitable. If you're training hard enough that is...lol.
