yes, that goes without saying. Now if you think this is "the woman" and youre going to get engaged soon or marry you might want to reconsider, but only then. Herpes really doesnt have any dire consequences.

I think what they are saying is that once the site is infected with simplex one, it may be possible to develope some immunity to simplex two in the same spot, and vice versa. This is not supported by his negative test result, so it isn't possible unless the test was wrong. Also, I think that they are saying that this potential, partial immunity is only a theory.

Oh I guess I read it wrong. I thought it was suggesting if you had oral, then you could give it to your partners genitals but then it may not spread back to your genitals because you had some immunity to it.

Usually pills can control and limit most forms of herpes to 1-2 breakouts a year
