Hey man I think it should say EVERYONE, not just newbies. Also the redirect page is a good idea. Maybe WODIN the master can do a deal where for the first 1-5 posts for a member a window pops up with a list of reminders that yoy have to dismiss. Or an automatic PM with this quick list of reminders. People need to be firmly pushed in the right direction.

Also a minor edit: common sense is two words.

i think a version of the rules should be permanently posted at the top of the page. have it locked so no one can post on it, and only moderators can ammend it. also i think a better title for the post would be something like "MUST READ FOR ALL USERS".

Great post QS, nice solid advice.

People, please follow this as it can be very overwelming as a MOD to recieve so many PM's emails, etc, with questions just like QS has pointed out. Dont get me wrong, we are here to help and if you have a questions, please ask. But follow some basic common sense and the things that the Sweeper has outlined above.
