AG-Guys deliveries to the UK

Has anyone had any problems with ordering from the UK?

I just got a letter from Parcel Force saying that they'll not deliver until I've paid VAT and a further "Parcelforce Clearance Fee".

That's par for the course.

I've had the same experience here in Ireland. Sometimes I get stuff without any problems and fees and sometime get hit for the VAT.

Well, I paid by credit card over the phone. They have a fully-automated robot running the place.

Import tax, most of the time if the goods are declared less than $50 value it's gets in no problem, I have had to pay it a few times when ordering from 1fast400

yeah its just your donald duck and how big the parcell is i think - how much are they charging?

Just under £25 but more than half is Parcelforce fees. Thing is that the order is for around £200 so the VAT should have been around £35. I think they just make the numbers up.

i supose you are still making a saving - ordering from the us if its only £25 - i take it you ment £200 and not $200( just trying to work out how much it would be if i order'd a few bottles of AX products

Yep, £ not $. My order (inc shipping) was for over $300. The AG-Guys prices are pretty decent.

The package arrived today and there were three free bottles in there, presumably because the order went over $300.
