To cut effectively, from what I am learning:
You need a lot more protein.
The danger yui run into is what happened to me for liek 1-2 years. You are NOT eating enough.
Yor biudy os not getting enough protein and cals overal.. The problem the wil be that your body will start to eat muscle and hold fat, amost in a "panic" mode ......... and the you are also close to povertraining, which is NOT good ....
Eat a lot more protein.
Actually get some MORE cals.
If you want to cut, from what I am learning, get a lot of protein and maybe keep your carbs in check, like no sugar or high GI carbs (except for right after a workout) and also maybe have most carbs come from veggies.
Red meat is not so bad. In many ways it depends upon the cut oif it. A big steak (like 12-16 oz) with a lot of fat around the edges does have a lot of fat. There are leaner cuts, and a good portion size is 8 oz.
Get some good Oils (like EFAs, or Udo'd Oil brand).
so load up on protein, get carbs, simple/high-GI ones after a workout, and maybe less (like from veggies) other times of day.
and do NOT overtrain.
Thats MY understanding - anyone agree or not?
