afstore ALCAR

junk

New member
I have a two bottles of afstore alcar (acetyl-l-carnitine) question is should I really take it on empty stomach or can I take it with meals? I read somewhere that all N-Acetyl versions can be taken with food as they will not compete with other aminos anyway. I plan on taking 5-10 grams a day.

Is there enough ALCAR in Liporex that I wouldnt have to supplement with extra ALCAR to get the full benefits???

the definition of what entails full benefits varies, and it also varies from person to person. Six caps of liporexin is nearly 3g of ALCAR- which is considered the therapeutic dose. however some people go as high as 10g or more per day- though they are often seeking effects other than just fat loss.

the full dose (6caps/day) contains what is generally considered to the "effective" dose. Plus over 600mg ecgc (from green tea) and more..

but there is no harm in adding extra ALCAR, if only to see how you respond.

i may have to look into this... macro. what does this stuff benefit.. just energy? how does it help with the fat loss..

If I'm not mistaken, I've seen people advertising injectable alcar. Does anyone know what an effective injected dose would be? Or the absolute "safe" amount for injecting? (I know it is good stuff orally, but just curious.)

Thanks,

Jacob

there is no advantage to injecting alcar, you might as well inject carnitine. which is not particularly advantageous and quite painful. Oral dosing is more effective for fat loss, nootropic and energy benefits.

Currently in business school and alcar has definitely helped with concentration levels and mildly with energy levels. Fat loss, slight. I was taking about 3 g of powder/day but i can't stand the taste of it, makes me gag. Just ordered caps from af store yesterday, already been shipped by the way, cheapest price on the internet, quality isn't lacking either I'm sure. Recommend for enhanced cognitive function.

Not being lazy, been on and ordered from the AF Store many times, I don't quite underastnd the difference explained on there between ALCAR and ALTYR? Better layman's explanation from any bros/macro? I like the idea of better cognitive ability.

they are both acetyl group donors (which is part of their nootropic effects), ALCAR's impact is mainly on cellular energy levels (powering the mitochrondria in part). ALTYR's impact is mainly as acting as a substrate for neurotransmitters (which are depleted by stimulant use, stress, etc..) it is also great for tanning as its a crucial factor in melanin production and melanin darkening(photoreactive effect)

what's your ALCAR Source? How do you afford 5-10 grams a day? I buy it in 500 mg capsules and it's not cheap from my source.
