if you don't like them, it is easy to turn them off in your Member Control Panel.
To turn ads on or off, click on the dark blue "Profile" link at the top of this page and every page. Then in the "Control Panel," select the "Edit Options" link. At the bottom of that page you will see the Miscellaneous Options section and the On/Off button for Site-wide Advertisements.
