i heard CO is the worst state for DUIs in the country. a doctor friend of mikne got a DUI, and had to spend two weekends in jail, had to have some device installed in his car (i guess for alcohol detection) , and couldnt leave state fro a year.

i have been rading several posts on here about getting DUIs expunged from record. i dont know about other states, but in CA htat is an extremely difficult thing to pull off.

Colorado is tough! I got the message 2nd time around. I had to straight up quit drinking! It's been nearly 3 years now. A 3rd one is felony and min 90 days in jail. I figured the only way not to get a 3rd was to just quit and it"s worked so far.

I know plenty of people in CO that have gotten dui's and they've had to take alcohol classes, do community service, and have the breathalyzer machine installed in their vehicles as a result.

What I mean amigo is you won't get off! I had a lawyer for my second and it really was a waste of 4k, got hammered with everything! The only thing I had going for me was my BAC.

You got "hammered" because you were starting to show a pattern of poor decision making, decisions that could have life altering affects on you and others. Judges know damn well that someone with their second or third DUI didn't just drink and drive a couple times, they've done it dozens if not hundreds of times.
