Absess removal

Is it possible to remove (or somewhat remove) an absess with a syringe? I found that I had an absess after pulling the plunger back (to check to make sure I was not in an artery) and a bunch of puss came out.

You can get some of the infection out, but at the very least you need some strong antibotics. Please don't fuck around take a trip to the doctor. You can tell him that a short time ago you were working in an old building and got stuck by a wire or something of the such. I had a very bad abcess develop on my outer thigh once, I told the doctor the truth that I got it from injecting winstrol, but told him that it was to be kept confidental. He had to cut my leg open and drain it. Nothing abot steroid use was ever reported to my insurance. I'v found that doctors are very good at keeping a confidence.

You can't get rid of it by draining. The bacteria thrives in a non oxygenated enviornment. You need to either take antibiotics or lance it so air can get in.

What is recovery like from this? Do you basically have a permanetly fk'd quad on oone leg? I'm imagining a 2" cut that runs 3" or something, but my imagination may be out'a control....

With a thread like this why do people still insist in purchasing injectables from IP. Spend a little more on quality and you'll end up saving more than a few hundred dollars later.

It was on the side of my leg, I have about a 3 inch scar, other than that no problems. I was weaker in my right leg for about 3 to 4 months. I had a baseball size abcess resting near the bone, so I noticed very little swelling. I got the abcess from dankel winstrol not Ip, thank you.

Scars can be prevented....

Express to your doctor your concerns. An incision to drain an abcess only needs to be big enough to do the job. Some doctors are very skilled at being as non-intrusive as possible. They can also do some talented stitch work to make the scar very small and even tell you what items to apply in the daily dressing and cleaning of the wound to prevent scarring.

You might have some marking or scarring, but a good doc can minimize so it's not that noticable.
