AAS and anxiety

I’ve been prescribed Paxil® (paroxetine HCl) for the last two years, and for the last 6 months, I have made many unsuccessful attempt on getting off Pixel. This message is mainly to those who have posted suggestions of taking Paxil as an aid for reducing anxiety when on AAS.

Side affect when trying to come off:
“Severe dizziness, nausea, 'electric zap' sensations, and 'emotional lability' (defined by Paxil maker GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as 'crying, mood fluctuations, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide')” –FDA NewsRelease

I have a very close friend who after a very nasty divorce was prescribed Paxil to battle anxiety and depression. 2 months after the last time I saw her, her daughter informed me she committed suicide.

I took it before a few years ago (for about 6 months), and coming off was no problem for me...Being on it was not the most pleasant thing at times though...

I'm currently on 25mg Paxil CR right now..been on for about a month or so and it takes the edge off a bit. I just want to come off of it, for me when I was depressed and I was on no medication, going through post cycle Clomid was the worst for me, I really felt suicidal at times and my emotions could not be controlled. I'm hoping to come off the Paxil very soon...

Paxil can be some miserable shit. I was on it about ten years ago for anxiety and OCD. Within 5 days my moods were rapidly cycling between euphoria and intense sadness (ie: hysterical crying for no apparent reason). I stopped the drug, without problems, three days later and was put on Prozac. I had few problems with prozac.

I have a friend who used massive amounts of E and was put on Paxil for about a year aftewards. It took him about 9mo to withdraw from the drug. He experienced intense headaches, the famous "electric shock syndrom" and attempted to commit suicide twice.

I just love the Paxil commercial, its like M&M, come and get some! I love their website as well, it actually has a online test which to be honest, would tell anyone no matter how healthy they are that they should too be on Paxil..

A simple fact, the makers of Paxil make 2.1 billion a year! their stock couldn't be any higher! thanks to us, one once that suffer and cant get off.

bro there are some that can and should not come of of various meds. my own brother and i have been on a trycyclic for over 17 years. wouldent even think of comming off, We both have very nice lives.

I understand there are some medications that for some people it will be a life long process, but this is completely different. The idea behind this drug was to correct a chemical imbalance in the brain, and after taking this drug for some time, allowing the brain to correct this imbalance and coming off the drug (yeah, right!!).

Even today Paxil is being advertising to be non habit forming, which it is. Because this drug has not aided me in anyway, I would like to stop taking it, but has not been a possibility. After the 4th day, I literately fall on my face.

There is countless number of class action law suites against the makers of Paxil, FDA has raised a red flag, and Paxil makers are being forced re label their packaging (something along the lines of “your fucked after the first pill”.
