a strength training decision

I've got an ipod shuffle and I love it too.

It's super light and tiny and works well enough for my purposes.

Use a 1gig MP3 for the gym - Sandisk. Small, out of the way, plenty of capacity for just a few playlists.

Use a 30gig Ipod for home and travel.


Get the shoes.

Elite Fitness and the resources linked up here are basically an online Starting Strength/Pratical Programming where you can ask questions and recieve feedback.

I don't think the forum is a substitute for the book. The explanations and pictures are priceless, though a coach is even better.

I don't really care for the Ipod mini 4gb I have. I know its cool, but I don't really listen to it that often, and wish I had the $250 back. Sure its handy if you stay still or drive a lot, but when I start trying to squat heavy or clean the damn cord always seems to get in the way. I just tune everything out anyways. GL

F-the stupid arm band (if you can even wear it - or - are not annoyed to hell by it). Older players have the belt clip (I use a BodyGlove cell phone belt clip case) and run the chord under my shirt.

Unless you are wearing some of those cute, groovey skin tight Under Armour shirts.

Nope don't have the arm band, just the clip. I just have cheapy old nazi(navy) t-shirts. Though, some of my old ones are too tight now. Just never cared for the cord flopping around. Not to mention.......dropped the damn thing on my nuts in the car, haven't really liked it since then

So I ended up just getting the 2gb ipod nano. It's so easy to use and looks pretty cool too I'm happy with my purchase.

Now I'm just waiting on glenn pendalay's reply so I can order his shoes out here to Canada

Buy some extra laces. Heavy duty ones - like for work boots. I lace my adidas up with them - kind of match - but you need the strength. The velcro strap should NOT be tightened excessively, more for holding laces in place and a back up if the laces come untied (double knot the laces).
