I just took this last night...I know that I am nowhere near as cut as you ladies are...but I am working on it. :) It takes time....

I figured that I would share this with you all...see...I do workout...sometimes! hehe... j/k

You know that I love your back though. The pic does not do it justice...you have a very nice, thick, and strong back. Wish I were there to massage it.

MMMMM muskles! You don't have to be cut to flip a tire. ;)

If your diet is in check, you should be able to continue training for strength, and slowly lose some extra fat in the process. You don't need to concern yourself with that petty cutting crap; that's for the BB's. Sure, productive weight (muscle) is better than extra non-productive weight, but you just got started and have lots of time. Your lifts are awesome and your strength is increasing fast. You can't guage your progress by the same standards as 99% of this board. You are rockin' in your own right!

Lobo...Thank you so much for the compliment! Lifting wise...well...I don't know exactly what stats you are wanting...but I have always been strong on my back exercises...DL I just recently did 225 for 2 sets of 5...and really had another set of 5 in me, but stopped. I've been doing full cleans and presses with 115 here lately. Hopefully all that will improve.

Spatt...Thank you also, girl! It was a little hard for me to post this last night just simply because I am not as cut as everyone on here...but like you stated....that really isn't my goal. I am doing my best to keep my diet in check...although I like to cheat every now and then. :)
 
Though the goals are different I have faith that the respect for what it takes to achieve our individual goals is intact.

Lookin good girl! Like Lobo said "THICK!" I'm glad you are patient with your goals too -- you will definitely get some great results!

On a side note ... do ever wonder how many peeps around the world are sitting naked and flexing in front of a web cam right now? LMFAO! (Sorry it just hit me funny -- like when my bf asks who took some of my pix while we weren't dating and I have to say that I took them myself... especially the contorting and positioning to get the pic to work on the timer or while holding your mouse in your hand and still getting good lighting....LMFAO!)
 
Sidenote: Night Fly has lost some weight lately, abs are showing up, she is getting stronger, dieting, killing herself, and comming off of a lay off. She is an animal in the gym...well...she is catching up to me when I train anyway.

Congratulations on your accomplishments. Looks like you have built up a good base...what are your goals for your body in the future?

Just wait till she gets below 150, pulls 315, squats in the upper 2's, and overhead presses 185.

Still though, it is that grin that gets me everytime.

Bunny...my goals...well...I want to get really really strong! :) No, actually...I would love to deadlift 300 by May...I would love to squat 225 by April 1st...I would love to overhead press....135 for 5 good strong reps. I would also enjoy being at about 150 or so...but that is going to take a while... I'm working on the diet, but I lack a bit of self discipline in that area...I'm really trying, though.

I haven't been doing cardio at all....and I am going to put it in my plan starting tomorrow....so I'm sure it will help out!

150? Well, you can't do everything at once. Pick one thing and go with it. It is impossible to get really lean AND really strong in a short period of time. Just focus on getting in better aerobic condition while getting stronger from head to toe (includes your mental aspect of competition).

As far as your goals? Well, you could do them now or come extremely close if you really wanted to...promise. Technique my dear friend...technique.

I'll get you that tire soon so you can start flipping it on a regular basis to increase your cardio, endurance, muscular endurance, and speed strength/endurance.

Dropping the towel? You mean I can share that pic? Too bad the bottom of that pic was cut off? Do I have to doctor it before I send it out or can I leave the "boob" shot in it? Where is your boob in that pic above? You no longer give credit where credit is deserved? :)

I know that you can do it and I sincerely wish you the best of luck in this endeavor. I can definitely relate to a lot of what you are saying. I have been able to lean out over the past year and drop about 40 pounds myself (through diet, a supportive boyfriend, and exercise). I used to weigh about 180 lbs. You can do it. I am sure. Just take it one day at a time. When you are tempted to not eat cleanly, just picture the way that you want to look (the person you want to look like) in your mind and let that help you to achieve your body composition goals.

there is no reason to have to preface your post with an apology of sorts... about not being as cut as some of the other women here

in fact, many people (ah-hem, including me!) prefer the fuller muscular look, with some body fat. I have always found off-season bbs look so much better than when ripped up for a competition... I have always thought there should be an alternative form of bb comps with more normal levels of bf %, so the competitors would be judged on muscle size and shape more than how lean they can get by all natural (and unnatural methods) known to man. Now that would truly be bodybuilding and not body-leaning... if I decide to try to organize that kind of show, you should compete! wooo wooo!

keep up the great training, nightfly... the hard work is definitely paying dividends!

Haha...I got that bruise from playing on a pogo stick the other day and falling over onto the shelf that it came on. LOL. B fold and I were in a sports store, and I just HAD to try this pogo stick...:) You can see how clumsy I am from that bruise.

Ironbuilt...Thank you for your comments! I am not really apologetic, but 99.9% of the women on this board look beautiful and cut. I have a desire to be more cut...but maybe not as cut as some. I agree with you about the bb contests, though...but I do have to say, some of those women look great when they are cut! :)
 
Night Fly you look fabulous! Good luck on your goals I'm sure you'll have no problems.

By the way I love the curly hair, especially with the just out of the shower look :p
