a question for the sushi eating people

A few years back I tryed it and wondered that same thing. Then I got the chance to try it again and I liked it a lot. I think it all depends who makes it to be honest.

so what your saying is you want to take me to a sushi bar, is that right???

well it is customary to tip the chef when they cook it right in front of you but yea they do get paid also.

i tried sushi for the first time the other day. i dont see what all the hype is about.

Ive tried it several times too, its bland to me and not that great. Im not a fan of rice at all seeing as how its pure carbs with no nutritional benefit whatsoever.

I do like the ambiance though of sushi places, I would enjoy that over the actual food and certainly wouldnt mind going now and again. Just not for me since there are so many other things that Id prefer to eat with my calories

There is this place called Todai's that I go to now and again in Downtown. They have all sorts of sushi and sashimi in a buffet style, sorta upscale place with a bunch of other japanese dishes you can get it.

Alot of it has the fish on a bit of rice but there are like a ton of different stuff they have out there.

Just really doesnt do much for me though, course Ive never really been with someone that was really into it either

ive been to todais with klu, she really likes that place but she wont touch the sushi, she sticks to shrimp tempura

no offense man, but Todai's is total shit.. seriously. BUFFET SEAFOOD = dangerous

its not high quality, and here is nothing upscale about it.

You need to find a small place with a chef from japan.. then you will really get to experience some quality fish.
