A moment of silence-two Iron Brothers have passed on

Mike and his brother Ray Mentzer are both dead. This shocks and saddens me, as if it wasnt for Mike, I and Dorian and numerous other bodybuilders wouldnt be here. Mike loved this sport, and was a thinking ,mans bodybuilder. He will be missed by many. If there were ever a time for the Ranger to know what to say, now would be it. R.I.P fellow Iron Brothers. May GOD have mercy on your souls, and may the gyms in heaven be uncrowded.

Apparently, heart disease runs in the family, and mike had been suffering cardiac related problems. ANyway, he was found dead in his apartment by his younger brother, dead of a heartattack. I have no idea yet why his brother dies after, but my guess is a broken heart.
