a lil help coming up w/new mm bench routine?

i wanted to change up my bench days to more of a mm style. maybe it'll help me break through this wuss barrier.lol. i wanna do all ohp on a separate day. on my bench my weak point is off my chest so i was thinkin alot of 3 board, maybe floor presses and shoulder and lat work..but i also need to get used to my shirt.
i'd like to start using bands..just finished 2wks of chains.

anyone have any suggestions?

i checked mm site but cant seem to find much on routines.

when my bench got stagnat I turned to HEAVY inclines. It worked for me. Simple is best for me.

**There is never a substitute for hardcore training my man.

yea i've thrown those in the last few wks after ls suggested it to help my sticking point. you are right there..no sub. no other way to train but hardcore.

i change my training up so much that the only issue i come across is overtraining.(metal militia) try keeping your workouts interesting week in and week out by changing it up. doing metal militia/westside barbell will give you an opportunity. tb

awesome start. here's what i would do to change it up. do reps the following week and then the 1RM the week after and so on. if you get tired of those exercises, change up the exercises to some high board presses, lockouts, etc. tb

how about;

Heavy Incline Barbell Presses 5X5
Heavy Close Grip Presses 5X5

You can hit all the angles you want man but the basics will yield POWERFUL results.

hell...that will work too!! anything to change it up that you can come up with.....remember be sadistic!!!:evil::evil: tb

Curious as to why you would use 3 boards if your bench stalled right off of your chest...

i would drop the 4 board and do that on your other bench day

if you think you must do incline tomorrow wait to do them after decline

i recommend doing triples for your raw bench and boards, but do what you feel you need

thanks...could i also just do inc on the 2nd bench day

personally i'm not a fan of inclines. i would put them into tomorrow at the end of the workout fi you're dead set on doing them. what i would rather see you do is some ohp's for 5 or 6 reps on the last set. you'll already be fried but you'll be working what strength you have left. don't do them on your other bench day that's your shirt day and when you work the top end of your bench
