A Few Questions Regarding AAS

Age - 21
Height - 5,10"
Weight - 252lbs (18 Stone)
Bodyfat - 17-18%
Bodybuilding Experience - 6-7 years
AAS Use - Explained Below

Several months back I did my first ever cycle which was the following:

10 Week cycle of Test-E. 1000mg the first week (split into 2 doses) followed by 9 weeks of 500mg per week (also split into 2 doses).

I then waited 2 weeks & started my Nolvadex cycle which lasted for 21 days. 100mg the 1st day, 60mg per day for the next 10 days & 40mg per day for the following 10 days.


My Questions:

- Since coming off the cycle I tried my absolute hardest to keep as much of the size I gained as possible, but sitting here now you'd never be able to tell I once did a proper Test cycle. I think the reason for this is the fact that I took such a long break and went WITHOUT AAS. I was told by many that the time off should equal the time on... So if your cycle lasted 3-4 months, you should take 3-4 months off before starting another cycle. Are you sure this is the normal thing to do? Let's take the Pro's for example (And even non IFBB'ers who are always huge/ripped)... ALL year round they're massive, and it looks as if they NEVER come off the juice. It doesn't seem to me that they take big amounts of time off before starting another cycle. To me (although I could be wrong) it seems as though they're juicing all year round. I'm just thinking of starting another cycle again, but don't particularly want to be back to the drawing board once the cycle is finished, due to have to wait so long to start ANOTHER cycle. What do you think?

"Pro's" have ran gear for years, they didn't just get "huge and ripped" of a cycle or two. Years of training, dieting, cycleing etc. I won't even get into that. You can start your next cycle when you're fully recovered, how do you know? BLOODWORK.

Looks good to me, Orals are fast acting and a good way to kick start any cycle.

Why would you think that taking 1000 mgs of test the first week of your FIRST EVER cycle would be a good idea???!?

Waaaaaaaay too much test. I've had way to many cycles, and I've still never done more than 750 mgs of test a week...

You are unlikely to listen, but IMO you don't need gear at all. At 21 you have enough muscle building compounds in your body to create a great phyisque naturally. 1 gram of test at 21? Why?

If I had to run a test alone cycle, I'd hit 250 mgs of test.

I am by no means an AAS expert, still natty (or at least all OTC) up to this point.

But, I'll try to help you out a bit. As a side, a front load of Test E doesn't kick start anything. Research these drugs an their esters. Different esters have different half lives which control how long it takes your body to breakdown and release into your blood stream. Test E is a long ester. You probably didn't start to feel the effects of your "front load" for a few weeks.

Now, until you can train and grow naturally you shouldn't think about using again. Your young and your test levels are high. You're at your natural anabolic peak right now. Take advantage of it and build a base. What have your gains been like over the past 6-7 years?

If you don't get this down then it doesn't matter how much you gain on cycle because you'll never hang on to it.

I think your other questions were addressed.

To the original poster... listen to these guys bro. If you make some solid gains naturally you'll be greatful because you'll be able to make greater gains off lower doses in the future and your body will thank you for that. If you're at 1g of test/week at 21, where is up from there? 2-3g by the time you're 25?:confused:

your body produces anywhere between 50-100mgs of test EW. around 250mgs of test only seems to be the standard for the cherry popper cycle. listen to the sound advice you get here. a whole gram of test on your first cycle ever? damn, plz start respectin your body or your nuts will pack up and leave you!

Kid you're going to fuck yourself up good. I see you being a stick figure and having to take HRT by the time you are twenty five. You're going to permantly shut yourself down and then you will never be able to maintain muscle mass. A doctor will have to give you a script just so you can look somewhat normal (oh and lets not forget getting it up). I didn't start juicing until I was in my late forties. And I'm one of the big guys in the gym. I get respect in the gym not because I am big but because I work my ass off. If you want respect you have to earn it.

Yes Deca/Sust can be used on a cut, BUT there are others out there which people would "rather" use because it works better with what they're trying to achieve. You can't sit there and tell me that people wanting to bulk & people wanting to cut, will go ahead & use the same drugs for both goals... You're a retard. Alcatraz - Researching for more than 4 years & speaking to MANY people about cycling, they have ALL recommended the same thing to me. If it's wrong, then how the hell am I meant to know, if SO MANY people have told me the same thing? It's like people telling me "high reps tone" and I go ahead & do it because everybody told me, but in the end I don't make gains at all... If you had just started out juicing and people were telling you "yeah 1000mg per week for the past 2 weeks is THE NORM and it's fine", what would you do? You wouldn't go against what so many people are telling you is right. Especially since they look like they're been in the game for YEARS on end. If what they told me is wrong, it's their fault, not mine... I'm just following what I thought was good advice.

You went about things a little too harshly bro, we're always willing to help. We're a very experienced group of guys, and whether or not the information is what you want to hear, it's there for your consideration. We can't control what you're going to do, but we sure as shit can try to guide you in the right direction.

ya guys were a bit harsh...frontloading was pretty normal and useing 1000mg test a week for first 2 weeks isnt a big deal.. 21 and usieng steroids may not be the best idea but he is an adult and can make his own decisions. nobody keeps all there gains off cycle unles they stay on for good and thats a fact... 5 10 at 250 is a big guy

Sorry...hafta disagree. This is a prime example of why dosages are going up and guys are looking worse. It's anti-bodybuilding IMO. 21 years old, first cycle, a gram of gear? Ridiculous. Yes, he's an adult and can make his own decisions -- that doesn't make them good decisions.

Steroids should be used to enhance and further training. Any moron can take a lot of gear. Any idiot can eat a lot and throw some weights around and weight 250 with 18% fat. That's not bodybuilding.

He didn't not keep all his gains, he LOST ALL his gains. That shows he's on the wrong track. And all he was looking for was for someone to tell him he needed MORE gear. That's the wrong message.

Somebody has to keep it real. If it means some kid called me names to do so, I can live with that. In the end more people may be helped even if one jerk doesn't like what he hears.

Sometimes you have to get the message across that needs to be made and get it across fast. Instead, this guy thinks he's right and I'm wrong. Personally, I don't care what he thinks, but in the end, he'd be better off if he just manned up, took the hit, and learned from it. Instead, he has people who are offering sympathy so he can make the same mistake twice. And maybe others in the same boat will make the same mistake.

Why can't anyone take constructive advice? Does everyone need their balls stroked before getting any instruction at all? Geez, come on already.

Besides, soon I read his post "fuck this forum" that's an immediate banning. He doesn't want to be here, and we're just giving him what he wants. He can go get advice to run 1000mgs of test ew cycles somewhere else, as I dnt want that shit on my conscience.

True I know many people like this as well. Also meh they did not jump on him to much. Could have been a bit nicer. LETS TRY TO DO THIS NEXT TIME GUYS!!!.

I was not happy with this thread. Regardless of if he was right or wrong we have to give a level of respect to people if we expect it back. We are not going to go jumping down newbs necks. Yes we will be nice to them and explain things to them. This is not a flam and fight forum. Its a information,share and learn forum.

I hope I do not see this shit again from anyone.
