I gotta be honest...I hate admitting this but the only time I thought a pt was actually going to hurt me was a 80-something yr old dementia pt

he gestured for me to lean in to hear him say something then grabbed me by the back of the neck...hooked his fricken fingers into my vertebrae and my very large male partner could barely un-pry him. Very humiliating. Course you also really can't man-handle em at all left you seriously injure them.


I don't agree with tazing and bean bagging some old guy though...thats insane.

I got into a shouting match with an old dude at olive garden once because he mouthed off a little too loud to the waitress about my kid annoying him. I was almost certain that I was going to trade punches with an 80 year old guy because of it.
