87 degrees outside at 10 am......

agree! the combo of heat & humidity wear me out here in the summer.

It's not that hot here today, but it's been raining for the better part of the last five days, so it's so bloody humid that there's a mist in the air in between showers. Makes it hard to breathe when you're outside...thank God for air conditioning!!!

yeh, i always wondered how people lived in nawlinz before the advent of air conditioning.....musta drank a LOT of mint julips and passed out early!

I think I would have had to move during the summer without a/c. We have been having so many rain storms out here all week so it's nice when it brings some wind.

It's only 9:00 here and it's 92 degrees.....prolly get up around 105-110 today.... But good thing the humidity stays around 7%.........

It's the humidity that kills me I can handle a dry heat

i've gotten rid of otherwise good cars because the a/c broke or didn't work well enough for me.

when i renovated my current money pit home the one item i didn't complain about was top of the line central a/c/heat and insulation. even with that i still have a window unit a/c in my bedroom.

When I see people stuck in traffic and they have kids in the car with the windows down cause they must not have a/c I feel bad for them!

Same here, it only feels like 90's.....But in August, the monsoon (its not a real monsoon, but everyone calls it one here) comes and it starts to get a bit sticky....

Damn I would have died if my mom kept the a/c on 78! My mom always kept it on 68 and my friends would freeze when they slept over and I'm the same way now.

It was very beautiful out on the Gulf today with the breeze.
