A pattern 1.2.3...etc.

You are so small minded, you can't even pick up on that one.
.

Oh yeah, that is way over my head. You are really smart.

You heard wrong from friends over there. The choppers were called in once the soldiers realized the house was armored. and it lasted three hours, not six minutes.

Where are you getting ur facts from? I've read a few different versions of the story so far.

And where did you get your information? From the news? Don't make me laugh. Didn't I see you post something about choosing the right .45? Why do you need one? You seem like the bleeding heart type that stands up for criminal rights and raises hell about gun control. Why should we have tried to catch them alive? So we could lose some more of our soldiers trying to look good in the arabs eyes? Do you think those murdering, raping psychopaths would give up information? I think not. Not a flame guy, just wandering what you are thinking.

You got me all wrong pal, although I prolly dont need the .45 for the likes of you. I just believe in honor in combat and I believe that Qusay and Uday were worth much more alive than dead. I hope you understand my logic, as yours doesnt seem to be serving you well, look how far off base you were about me...bleeding heart, gun control, liberal...I couldnt be farther from all three.

Ill tell you what Im thinking. We should have tried to catch them alive because they probably know more about Saddam's MO than anyone. That fact alone is enough for me. And dont even talk to me about more soldiers dying. That is obviously not the prime concern of this administration, the military and their supporters. As far as them being murdering psychopaths who wouldnt have given up any information anyway I think you are way off the mark. Where did you hear they were psychopaths anyway, from our vaunted media. And besides, is George Bush any less a murderer than Uday and Qusay? All three are responsible for large numbers of innocent people dying, if you ask me they are all murderers. So I guess you could say that I think that there must be a reason why Qusay and Uday were worth more to us dead than alive.

how di you ever amass so much green karma.."honor in combat"...like many of those they executed had any defense options..even when i was a kid I'd create a salt circle around the slugs, but I always left em an escape hole

They should have dropped DF in with some knock out gas since Tear is illegal in War Zones! The brothers would have been more valuable alive for intel but I'm not sorry they are dead! It just makes Saddams trail cold! And untill his "Ghost" is dead the "War" will never be over! But with politicians running the intel show, common sense will not be used! But the "US Boys" never new what they were dealing with until the "Target" was destroyed!
...........Whoever suggested special forces could have captured them alive obviously is basing their knowledge of special forces on movies like "Navy Seals" or "Rambo". It's not as simple as saying "Delta Force, there's bad guys in there. Go in quietly and secretly and bring them back alive." These two bad boys were obviously well guarded. You don't just kick in the door and grab them, and the special laser cutting torch watches issued to all US Special Forces were obviously left back in the US by accident. I think they're sitting in a warehouse next to the knockout gas. What I think we should have done is just shot them in the kneecap, ok? Because obviously soldiers in a tense situation can hit something like a kneecap from 100 yards away while they're being shot at....

Some people here need to go out to a firing range and shoot a gun for themselves. It's painfully obvious that some people's ideas of what is feasible and possible is WAY off the mark here.

Well guarded by one bodyguard and one fourteen year old boy?

You know, the US had the cooperation of the owner of the house, he is getting 30 million US$ for his effort. He could have easily set up the brothers Hussein for capture by the 800 US troops. Instead, they were rocketed to death.

I'm speaking about their initial info, they thought there may be as many as 30+ in that house/bunker//I'm wondering why such an obvious "strongpoint" house wasn't on our radar to begin with..shit Mosul can't be that big and that "house" really sticks out..that place looks like a bunker..for that reason I'm surprised that the duo actually did use it as thier "hide"

It was just a regular mansion, they moved in, moved out all the furniture and fortified it. As far as the intel is concerned your point is totally invalid, we had intel from the owner of the house himself, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Zaidan, a distant relative of Saddams, who benefited greatly under Saddams rule. Qusay and Uday merely called in the favor. But he sold them out for 30 mil cash.
Now what I assume is that Saddam himself goes from house to house once a week, whereas his sons moved every three weeks or so.
