Eat more,if you are not gaining weight (muscle or fat) then your calorie intake is insufficient. As you gain muscle your maintainence calories also increase so you have to account for that as well.

Yup, its that simple. If you arent gaining weight then you arent eating enough. You many think you are eating a lot, but the truth lies on the scale.

Quitting smoking will do to things for you (bodyweight-wise that is):

Your metabolism will slow, causing more of the cals you eat to be used for protein synthesis.

You'll have more money for food.

I agree eat more, most people who think they eat a lot end up realizing they haven't been eating as much as they thought......and if you quit smoking it will help. Also, since you noted you eat as much as you 'can afford'....even more reason to ditch the stupid cigarettes, they can be costly as the weeks and months add up.

Smoking might make his caloric requirement go up, too. Increased heartrate and all that bullshit.

Not sure how much validity there is there, or how effective the cigs are at gobbling up excess cals. I doubt it helps in any way, though.

No, fuck that. It DOES NOT help in any way. 100%.

Now go smoke some greens and get the munchies. Then you'll bulk nicely.

Hm...OH! Then, smoke cigarettes for cutting!

:chomp:  :chomp:
