OK recently i had a post here about how i broke my leg, and i deided i was gonna lay off working out until it got better, but im out for the season so im not gonna jus sit and not do anything. Heres the routine i had planned until i can incorporate squats, deads and hang cleans

Monday: Bench
DB Press
Tri Extensions

Tuesday: Lat Pulldown
BB Curl
DB INcline Curls

Wednesday: OFF

Thursday: BB MIlitary
DB MIlitary
DB side raises

Friday: Bench
Weighted dips

Saturday: Lat pulldown
1 arm rows
BB CUrl

Sunday: OFF

I am doing the MM2K thing for bench i saw on a thread here, so its 3 sets of 6,5,4 reps. The other lifts are going to be 3x8. How does it look? I start tomorrow

Sorry i know its not the 5x5 at all, its more like the MM@K increase your bench workout. The link is on the thread "bench not improving". I kn ow what a 5x5 is but i cant do a true 5x5 without deads squats and cleans.

IS this an alright routine for upper body?

i think going for a strength or power routine while not having your legs for stabilizing is a terrible idea. i'd be isolating with flys and light dumbell movements only. I'd do 4-5 sets of 10-15, 45 second breaks, really concentrating on your flex during the movements. Your bench wont be a fraction of what it could be without planting your feet squarly on the ground, so those low reps wont carry half the benefit...goodluck

Makes sense peter, i think i should superset

flyes/db press for chest
db lateral raises/front raises for shoulders
1 arm db rows/lat pulldown for back

any isoation for arms....hows that

dont forget your rear delts, sitting backwards on a fly machine works well, or putting your chest on an incline doing reverse flys...
again i think it'd be hard to stabilize on single db rows without putting stress on your leg/foot. perhaps a seated row on a cable could replace that, single arm one week, really wide the next, medium, than close. always rotating between a "thinkness" routine and a "width" one. but overall, solid ideas.
