5/8" pin for quads ok?

Too short for glutes ive been told and i could do delts again but i know its gonna be another painful weekend if i do, im training legs tomorrow so would a quad shot be do able, i have pretty low bf.
 
With low fat is fine. Just push it all the way in.

I use 1 inch only
 
I am useing 5/8'' for quads this cycle. no problems so far but for the future i'll prolly use 1'' just to be safe.
 
i'm gonna try and get some 1" pins so i can start doing quads and glutes unless the delt shots get less painful. my first shot arm is still a bit sore but i just did my right one and there was no blood when i pulled out so i think i musta been shaking around last time.
 
5/8's is just fine - make a 'v' w. your fingers and push down on your quad, then poke between the 'v' and your good. I prefer 5/8's for quad shots.

This deep muscle belly nonsense is not science.
 
if you're lean you can use a 1/2" insulin pin even.


if you absolutely need 1" or 1.5" then you have fat legs


that said, most use 1" since it's the more common length
