What does the split look like?

I have been playing around w/ DC for the past 2 weeks and it is a real killer. I agree w/ an above post that if it works who cares what other say - as I am sure you are as well.

the book doesnt really touch on menzters training, it did touch on Yates, who was trained by mentzer.

i recall a back work out that yates did, it went something like this:

deads 1x8
bb row 1x8
pulldown 1x8
hammer row 1x8
rear delt raise 1x8
shurg 1x8

something along those lines, im guessing minimal rest between exercises, maybe 1 min tops.

al sets taken to failure

it must have took 15 mineuts or so, then he went on to biceps.

You ever look into DoggCrapp? It is pretty much the asme thing but w/ a short rest (like 15 breaths) at failure then 3-4 more reps, than another 15 breath rest, then 1-2 more reps.

It is really tough - I love it.

I'm pretty damn sure yates didn't do anything like that for his workouts.. have you seen his training video? HIT authors like to take trips to fantasyland, especially Darden and the later junk Menter came out with.

Dante/DC has made many posts about not wanting any association with 'HIT', and what he reccomends is nothing like traditional HIT. And I guarentee you DC would be a major improvement over what you're doing

HIT = High Intensity Training, Dorian did not train HIT style he did a ton volume and went to failure that way. He is known to have one of the best work ethics ever. I think HIT is inferior to volume training but you can make gains from it nonetheless, I have. I train with volume now and find that my body responds better to it. Many hard gainers love HIT though.
