I have been on a 60/20/20 (P/C/F) for a couple of weeks and I have been seeing great results, losing the last bit of stubborn fat over my abs and seeing some nice vascularity and definition overall. I didn't really engineer my diet to be these ratios, I just eat lots of lean protein (chick breasts, salmon filets, cans of tuna, etc) and it works out this way. My carbs around 100gms a day, which I don't really consider to be low carb, but the ratios definitely make it seem low carb. Fats are in the form of EV olive oil on my spinach salads, peanut butter and almonds.

A buddy of mine says I should up the fat and lower the protein about 10%, for a 50/20/30 ratio. I just wonder if I am seeing good results if I should tweak it at all.

Any opinions?

I wouldn't mess with a good thing. Finding the balance of macro-nutrients that works for you relative to your training, other activity, and sleep patterns is a rare find (Still searching for this balance myself - but that's another tale).

I recommend keeping track of your progress as accurately as possible -- weight, body fat, strength gains/losses, etc.

Don't tinker until you stop seeing progress over a week or so.

Congratulations -- sounds like you're on the right track.

Amen.

Everyone is different - upping the fat may work for your buddy - I would keep on YOUR track until you no longer see progress - then switch things around a little - learn YOUR body.
